Review: The Learning Hours by Sara Ney

Review: The Learning Hours by Sara Ney

The third book in the how to date a douchebag series, introduces a new douchebag not the one I was expecting (or anyone probably was) to be sure. I thought it would be someone we previously knew from the other books and the couple would be from the characters we knew in the series but this time it was about two new characters instead. I was eagerly anticipating the release of this book and it did not disappoint! This will be a relatively short review (for me, at least) because I don’t want to give away too much. This story follows the newly transferred […]

Review: Fire In you by J. Lynn

Jillian Lima’s entire life changed six years ago when a gun shot led to her moving miles away from her family and no longer living but existing in a void. Losing herself was hard enough but losing her childhood best friend Brock Mitchell and the person she had loved with all her heart made it even worse. Brock has felt guilty about what happened that night since he should have been there for her like she and her family had been there for him and after that event he felt like Jillian no longer wanted him to be there. Now years after the separation, […]

Series Review: Kiss and Make up by Sara Ney

Series Review: Kiss and Make up by Sara Ney

Weston McGarth is a ice hockey Player and the most popular guy in the school. Molly Wakefield is a studious student who isn’t really into the whole party and boy’s scene. Weston and Molly share a moment in the school library and after which he shows up at the same restaurant as her, they get talking and soon are friends and more. The problem is Weston has strict parents really, just his father who doesn’t him to be distracted by girls and anything that isn’t hockey related so Weston is reluctant to put a label on their relationship. I really liked them together, Weston […]

New Cover Reveals For: Kiss and Make Up Series by Sara Ney

KISSING IN CARS (Book #1) This novel, along with all others in this series, is a standalone with no cliffhanger. You’re welcome. WILL SHE, OR WON’T SHE… Studious and (mostly) sensible, the only thing Molly Wakefield wants to do is get through Senior Year and graduate. Well, that and hit the beach in her spare time. Okay, fine – and go shopping every once in a while for a new dress… (and who could blame her?) And things are going according to plan – until the day she spies Weston McGrath, handsome star athlete and scholar, spying on her in study hall. A tad […]

Release Day: Royally Matched by Emma Chase

Release Day: Royally Matched by Emma Chase

Sarah stands up and presses her lips against mine. And it’s so unexpected, so surprising—I freeze up. But only for a moment. As her mouth gently moves over mine, I begin to thaw. She’s so fucking soft, her taste so very sweet. The kiss is almost chaste—at least it’s the most chaste I’ve ever had. Unpracticed. And yet, it still manages to make my heart pound against my ribs like an animal in a cage. “What are you doing?” I whisper, when she pulls back just a little. “I’m distracting you.” She looks up at me uncertainly. From behind those ridiculously prim little glasses […]

Review and Giveaway: How to Date a Douchebag: The Failing Hours by Sara Ney

Rating~4.5- 4.75 stars One of my newer favourite type of heroes are douchebags not just that but the very self aware ones and Zeke definitely falls into that category. I really enjoyed the first book in the series so it was no brainer that I wanted to try this since Zeke promised to be ever more douche-y than Oz. I’m going to try and keep this short not give away stuff because I could talk for hours about this book. “I’m a beautiful mess….you’re just beautiful” ~Zeke. Meet Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Daniels resident asshole, rich kid with abandonment issues and no interest in relationships. Zeke […]

Review: Egomaniac by Vi Keeland

Review: Egomaniac by Vi Keeland

HOLY HOTNESS!! Word after word in this book is full of sass. Super, saucy, sass… Seriously, this book will make you smile. Egomaniac is both sweet and so addictive, there was no way I could stop reading this without finishing it. The beginning of this book is very different. I mean Vi Keeland is a genius writing about unintentional squatting in New York. Her books bring twists after twist, always keeping her faithful readers interested. In the book we meet Drew Jagger, just coming back from vacation in Hawaii only to find Emerie Rose working in his office. Did he allow this? No. Did […]

2016 Favourite Books

2016 Favourite Books

Here’s a list of my favourite books I read in 2016! With some honourable mentions at the bottom. Each of these is amazing and worth checking out.   Do you Want to Start a Scandal by Tessa Dare. This was an amazing historical. I loved all the characters and the couple; Charlotte and Piers. Their story follows the investigation of an event at a party that charlotte is determined to solve. With the usual Tessa Dare humour and romance this was one was top historical this year! Amazon US | Amazon UK | Goodreads |my review      Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie This a […]
