Review and Giveaway: Hearts on Air by L.H. Cosway

Review and Giveaway: Hearts on Air by L.H. Cosway

Another five star read from the talented L.H Cosway. Honestly this woman can write a love story about ramen noodles and it would still be an amazing and unique piece of work! The story is about the final Cross brother Trevor (a parkour enthusiast) and his shy but talented best friend Reya with whom he’s kind of in love with but still manages to fuck it up (don’t they all?). Despite the iffy story line, which lets be real sounds cliché as hell and been done to death, it was incredibly refreshing and the story line didn’t come across as cheesy or boring. Throwing […]

Review: Ruckus by LJ Shen

I think we’ve all read a series that stays close to our minds as we go through our daily lives. LJ Shen’s Sinners of Saint are those types of books for me. And Ruckus proved that a million times over. Ruckus is perfect. It is a combination of sweet, gritty, painful and perfect. L.J. Shen totally has outdone herself with Dean’s and Rosie’s story. There are times where you smile in this book and times when you cry and it all makes for an intense ride. When an author creates a combination of these, you know she has some talent. And talent this woman […]

Who would play the characters from Wolf Hunt in a movie adaptation? That’s easy. When I start putting a story together for the first time, one of the things I do to get the characters firmly established in my mind is find actors or models that sort of fit the vision I already have in my head for that character. I use pictures of those actors to help me imagine how the person would look when they smile and what kind of facial expressions they might make when shocked, scared, or worried. The pictures go a long way toward rounding out the character, and […]

Blog Tour: Trigger by J.L. Drake

I only ever want to tell the truth about the books I read. Having read many MC romance books, I was let down by this book. I feel like it was ok… Trigger is about a woman, Tess and thepresident of the Devil’s Reach MC, Trigger. Both of them have horrid stories. We get a good insight into Trigger’s one but even at the end of the book I don’t really understand what happened to Tess when she was younger. It does sound really bad past though from the snippets we get. I felt like this book was just a series of events. Nothing […]

Q and A with Rebecca Zanetti Author of Lethal Lies + Giveaway

Can you tell us a bit more about lethal lies and what inspired you to have a serial killer plot in this book? I’ve always wanted to write a serial killer plot, and this book just lent itself to that, considering it was set up in the first book.  I liked the idea of the detective agency looking for the lost (because the men are a little lost), and adding a serial killer into that mix seemed to work.  I hope readers enjoy it! Anya and Heath both sound very fascinating…Can you share 3 positive and negative personality traits of Anya and Heath? Heath:  […]

Blog Tour: The Perfect Illusion by Winter Renshaw

Nawww! This book is so freaking sweet. Well, the ending is. The rest of the book is sorta twisted. I am genuinely surprised by how fantastic this book was. The Perfect Illusion is a great read for a pick me up. It grabs your attention from the first chapter right to the last. I enjoyed every second of this book. Winter Renshaw, you have done a fantastic job. The Perfect Illusion is about Maribel Collins and Hudson Rutherford. It starts off with Mari trying to find the best way to let her asshole of a boss down when quitting. I mean Hudson sounds like […]

Rating ~ 3.5- 4 stars Ginny O’Toole is a thief, she’s on the run trying to save herself and the only remaining family she has. Theo Reese never brought the sweet and helpless act Ginny presented to the world and now she’s disappeared with the flash drive that would cause a lot harm to his family. Finding her and getting the drive back is Theo’s goal alas emotions are a little difficult to turn off when he finally finds Ginny. I really liked Theo, I wish we had gotten to know him and his brothers a bit more but I digress. Theo and Ginny used to […]
